After an eternity drifting around the cosmos in a nameless spaceship, the astronaut decides to retell their story through memories both from Earth and from Space. Searching the universe, ship, and their mind for unquestionable pieces of identity they begin to question what is reality, and what is an illusion maintained by the computer Hal. Through their existence they challenge, question, and fight to keep on being, while space and time around them aren't anymore.

This text is a reflection on isolation and identity, on how it is possible to be, without someone to be with, narrated through a queer lens.

Some of my favorite snippets:

"I solve quantum gravity and I make a theory of everything while I am at it, I have been procrastinating on that for some time now"

"She was so pink and white and yellow. When she sang, I could feel the grass growing stronger beneath my feet. When she was working, she would hum sweet lullabies, as if she wasn’t dealing with world-changing genetic coding. I grasp my fingers to that figure of raw power I made of her. Did she know I thought of her in that way? "

"I looked up; it was raining, and I stuck my tongue out to catch some drops; they tasted like life, like plants, and like earth. From the ponds that formed near me, I took all the water I could hold with my cupped hands and threw it over me. I soaked my hair, my clothes, every patch of skin, and when I was completely wet, I fell to the ground."
